Excitement.... Part-II

Guys, we have been hit up with the two most awaited updates--
The first is from Limp Bizkit and the other, [guess who finally updates their fans?] Julien-K!!

I
From L to R-John Otto[Drums],Fred Durst[Vocals],Wes Borland[Guitar],DJ Lethal,Sam Rivers[Bass]

Limp Bizkit have revealed that their first single will be released for our "Ear-drums and Eye-balls" soon! 'Douchebag', the single, is my guess. Can't wait to check out what kind of music they make, the mellow [crappy!] stuff on 'Results May Vary' or the heavier, Nu-Metal stuff they are known to really nail, like on their older records-'Significant Other' & 'Chocolate Starfish and The Hot Dog Flavored Water'.

Here, we come to Wes Borland,

the eccentric genius on Guitar for Limp Bizkit. Don't you feel his talents are wasted doing soft stuff? Being the lone guitarist in the line-up, it's simply amazing what he can produce on his Gibson. This face and body-painted monster can inspire the best. The main reason I feel 'Results May Vary' bombed is because of his absence from the line-up.

And do you really want 'put-me-to-sleep' Bass from Sam Rivers?

No, you want him banging his bass, body writhing with ecstasy to John Otto's beats and DJ Lethal's rhythm.

Aah,Fred Durst.

We all know you have a beautiful voice for slow, melodious songs. But c'mon man, we ache to hear you complain about the world, rapping your heart out & screaming your lungs out.

II

Julien-K have been totally out of contact with their fans. They left us everything to guess, performing new songs on current tours, which we now know will be included on the new, yet un-named record. They have released tour dates which get over in August.Their only update a couple of days ago, told us fans that they have started mixing the new songs. This means the album will be out shortly after their tour ends in August. Or they can go in for a surprise, and release it DURING the tour. I guess they'll do the latter.

From L to R-Ryan Shuck[vocals,rhythm guitar],Anthony 'fu' Valcic [Keyboards,Programming,Samples],Elias 'Bones' Andra[Drums] & Amir Derakh[Lead Guitar]

One just can't stop loving the wonderful amalgamation of their forte, Industrial Electronica, with their legacy, Hard Rock. 'Death To Analog' was a break-through album. No one had heard anything like that before, possibly Depeche Mode, but even they had negligible Rock elements.

I'm excited to see what Amir Derakh

does this time around. One can never leave this guy out of the mix!
According to me, he's one of the top-four guitarists of the modern era.Others are Synyster Gates [Avenged Sevenfold], Munky [KoRn] & Wes Borland [Limp Bizkit].

Expectations are sure to run high.I'm counting on you, Julien-K, to make my birthday special, if you know what I mean!
Yeah Ryan----We know!!!

Finally, I'm running out of ideas here. Help me out by telling me what to write about, in MusicManiac. Any album you need reviewed, any artist you want analysed. Just put in a comment here, and I will take care of it.

Excitement in the Music World!

Yeah......so now that we are over all the excitement caused by the biggies in 2010, it's now time to get a peek at what's to come in 2011 and 2012. Last year turned out to be a dream come true for music enthusiasts a busy one for artists.Almost everyone put out a record- Linkin Park, KoRn, Poets Of The Fall, Avenged Sevenfold, you name them.

The only band conspicious by their absence were Limp Bizkit. They were suspiciously quiet about what they were upto, doing the odd show in Russia and Europe. We should've guessed! Their new album "Gold Cobra" will be out 28.6.2011! What's more, it'll will be with their original line-up since the block-buster 'Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water' in  2000. This will also be their first album after the hot-cold 'Results May Vary' in 2003 with ex-KoRn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch & Mike Smith, which did not feature Limp Bizkit's eccentric genius Wes Borland on the guitar.

WES BORLAND!!

Gold Cobra costumes...Love it!

All songs have been mixed, and are ready. The band is now in discussions with their producers about Singles & music videos. There was a 0:19 sec clip of probably their first single 'Douchebag' on the internet, and to tell you the truth, although I was happy with the direction Fred Durst was taking with his vocals, the lyrics seemed to be a let-down. But then, hey, how much can you tell in 19s?

Moving on, we can expect a MOVIE based on 'American Idiot', Green Day's revolutionary and wildly-successful album. It will be produced by the one and only Tom Hanks, and it is yet to be known whether Billie will be acting. According to me, this was a path-breaking album and everyone needs to listen to this one, because of what it tells you through music, and because you will come out a wiser person.
'American Idiot' has already been adapted into a Broadway-musical and was a huge-hit.

If you haven't heard this one yet, you have no idea what you are missing!

Billie Joe Armstrong[Centre]-Lead vocalist,rhythm guitar

Julien-K will be releasing their sophomore album this year, and after 'Death To Analog', I can only expect them to blow my mind away for the second time. They will be starting their Europe tour soon, to promote this album. It will be their first without Brandon Belsky [bassist, keyboards] and with Anthony 'Fu' Valcic[keyboards, programming, samples]. No information on any bassist, if there is going to be one.

Amir Derakh,'Bones' Elias,Ryan Shuck & 'Fu' Valcic

Poets Of The Fall have released a compilation album of some of their huge hits and all music videos, titled 'Alchemy Vol.1'. It features two brand new songs- 'Can You Hear Me' and 'No End, No Beginning'. As is the tradition, both of these tracks are absolutely wonderful and definitely worth a listen.
Their next album is in pre-production and will be out in 2012.Waiting for their next masterpiece!

Avenged Sevenfold are trying out drummer Arin Ilejay on tour. Whether or not he'll be made permanent is not known. The only thing we know is that The Rev is irreplaceable, may his soul rest in peace.

Now, this is the one buzz I'm most interested in. There have been various rumors about Orgy getting back together after their critic-bashed but MusicManiac-approved 'Punk Statik Paranoia'.While band members continue to say that 'work is in progress', I, for one, am not too optimistic.
There was even an April Fool joke releasing totally fictional information about Orgy's next 'Psychotic Disillusions' with some totally unbelievable details.Had a good laugh.

Orgy, in the good ol' days!-From left-Paige Haley[Bass],Jay Gordon[vocals] & Ryan Shuck[Rhythm guitar,backing vocals],Bobby Hewitt[Drums] and Amir Derakh[Synth Guitar Maestro]

April Fool!

That's all for now. I'm leaving you with 'Forever', an amazing song by Julien-K, and especially Ryan Shuck. Hey girls, you think Bieber is so great? Try this track, you'll fall in love all over again with Ryan and his velvety voice.Enjoy!!
